Another life for myself ♥

I would take another life
to stop a second away from an event.

Another life to understand,
what is the way to defend myself
and keep it further away
from my greatest fears.

Another life to retrace my steps,
to find the peace that is not there.
Another life for myself.

I would take another life
to enjoy everything,
before it has already passed from my hands.

I would take another life
to defend myself
from the hypocrisy of the world,
from the naivety that time has transformed into dust.

I would take another life
to love myself again and again.

And as time goes by,
we & I still remain safe,
that tomorrow,
Another life will come.
